NOTE TO SELF (YOU)

Every concern you have, great and small, matters to the Father because you matter to Him. Whether it pertains to your career, your finances, your education, your love life, your marriage, your parents and children, or your appearance, bring it to Him.

Keep bringing it to Him until you find the peace to get up off your knees and face the day, confident in the knowledge that He cares for you.

Stop coveting what others have and start asking God for what He knows is best for you.

What is your heart aching for? Spend some time in absolutely free uninhibited conversation with God about what you feel you lack. Ask Him to bless you in the way He knows is best and to reveal His love to you along the way.

SCARED

PhotoCredit: Pinterest

I thought that if I owned nothing, had nothing, was nothing, I would have nothing left to lose, and I would not be scared anymore.

Because my whole life I have been so scared. Scared to live because I was scared to die.

But at the same time I was so scared of living, so I wanted to die. Or maybe so scared of dying that I refused to live.

You don’t have to be afraid to fall, when you are already on the ground.

You don’t have to be scared to lose someone, when there’s no one around to lose.

SHATTERED

We are broken. Our ways are apart.
Still we laugh together and taunt.
We fight and get hurt…
Still we don’t stop!
We spread love among us,
With the scent of believe.
We write on live.
Our dreams are shattered.
We think to move on,
But scared to miss each other.
We smirk when someone scolds,
But we drink a jar of poison each time.
We die and born everyday.
We rely on each other.
We get furious.
We tease and never step back.
We listen but never act on.
For public we are mature,
But among us we are childish.
We act like ninjas among us.
And we love to stay like this…
But then, what are we really fighting for. Where’s this leading to. Everything is wrong here, SHATTERED. BROKEN.

REALM

Been MIA for some time now due to network problems (bad reception) …. Missed being here, here’s an article to make up for all the days I have been away…  It feels good to be back.

           An angel appeared to me

                  at my door step,

             I cannot believe she heard

                   my prayers.

            Reaching out her precious

           hand, She pointed to the

                 dream I had.

Guiding me onto a road that

                 takes me on my way.

Can this be? I asked in

                   amazement.

Just believe in yourself is what

                 she had to say.

You are the obstacle who  is

                standing in your way.

To reach or achieve your dream,

               you only need to believe

in yourself and rely on the Lord.

ALIVE AGAIN

When I am down

I fall asleep in my own tears

War inside my mind

Shadows of failure in my dreams

Storms that steer me out of reach

I don’t recall the last time I opened my eyes to see the world as beautiful .

To hide from my broken dreams and the ache of heartbreak from failure

I built a cage to hide in just to wait on my defeat. Never to stand.

But for the very first time, I saw the Light 💡

The Light 💡 that gave me a signal of hope

that I am not done yet.

There is still a fight in me left.

I may be down but not out.

I still believe this broken wings will soar.

I am stronger than before and nobody knows how lucky I am to be ALIVE.

Value Not Possessions Enough to Worry About Them.

Matthew 6:25-27; This is why I tell you not be worried about the food and drink you need in order to stay alive, or about the clothes for your body. After all, isn’t life worth more than food? And isn’t the body worth more than clothes? 26. Look at the birds; they do not sow seeds, gather a harvest and put it in barns; yet your Father in heaven takes care of them! Aren’t you worth much more than birds? 27. Can any of you live a bit longer by worrying about it?

The word worry comes from an old AngloSaxon word that means; “Choke” or “To Strangle “,that’s an apt description of what worry does to us. Worry will not stretch our saving account or heal a deadly diseases. It will only cause us to lose sleep, it will give you high blood pressure and headaches. It will sour our mood and distance our friends and eventually stifle our relationship with God. It not only has physical consequences, it has spiritual consequences as well. To worry is to insult the God who has your life under control.

God will take care of you, He seeks you to also take care of His justice in the world. There is more to, than concern for daily needs. This may be a bit difficult for some of us, but always know that His assurance is forever.

Jesus expects His followers to put forward energy into things that give more meaning to life. All you must know is; sometimes God will provide a time of need in order for believers to trust Him, turn to Him, or to improve their  character .

The Bible says in Matthew 6:33; But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

We must strive to discern how God is working in the world and how to participate in the acts of justice on God’s behalf. Beyond that, everything else will take care of itself, Thus; Jesus will deal with the rest. The point is that when Jesus’ disciples are responsible to carry out the proper ways of life as ordained by God, God is faithful to carry out His responsibilities.

THE RISK OF DISPARAGING OTHERS.

If you underrate someone or something, you do not recognize how clever, important or significant they are. Do not belittle anyone who you do not recognize.

God has given each one of us the ability to do something in life. In the story of David and Goliath, a young man, who never fought in a war in his life, defeats not only a champion, but a giant who everyone fears.

Before he slays Goliath, David’s family had been visited by the prophet Samuel, and been anointed to be the next king. This despite the fact he was the youngest and only tended sheep, they really did not pay any attention to him because he was young. Samuel would not just anoint any of his brothers, they were not the chosen ones. David was sent for, when he arrived, the Lord said to Samuel; this is the one -anoint him. The Lord can make who He wants into His instrument. It is up to us to be willing to accept that call and act

At the time of war, David arrived at the camp just as the Israelites were going out to their battle line. He began asking questions from the men who were near him. His oldest brother, Eliab, heard David talking to the men. He was angry with David and said, what are doing here?; at this point Eliab underrated David, he felt he was too young to know about the war or should not know what was actually going on, not only Eliab underrated his brother but King Saul also did underrate David, when David said he was going to fight Goliath, King Saul said no!, how could you fight him? You are a boy and Goliath has been a soldier all his life. Finally, David came out to fight Goliath. Goliath on seeing David was filled with scorn for him because he was just a nice good looking boy. Goliath was strong as to the strength of men, yet he was defeated by a young man-a teenager, really, why? Because David had the strength of the Lord behind him. If you are on the right side of the Lord, it makes you stronger than anything.

The story here tells us not to look down on people because they are not up to our standard. No matter what or who you are, the Lord has His blessings upon you. If it is not your time to shine, do not rush. The Lord in His own time will lift you up. Just know that if you honor who you are and don’t pretend you are something else, you will be more successful. David knew and was familiar with his weapons, what weapons do you have? Your weapons are your faith, knowledge of the scriptures, your obedience to the commendents and the truth.  If you know your weapons and are familiar with them, then, you should use them. The Lord will lift you up and no one will have to look down on you or underrate you.

PS : I do not judge as people judge. They look at the outward appearance, but I look at the heart, saith the Lord!. 1 Samuel 16:7

WHO IS MY ENEMY(PRAY FOR THEM)

Many times people pray using all sort of words, striking their enemies with fire and whatever comes in mind. Praying for your enemy to die will not solve the issues you are facing in life.

How do they have a change in mind when they die, there is no more salvation after death; once this life is over, there will be no more second chances . Matthew 5:43-44 says; you have heard that, it was said, love your friends, hate your enemies. 44. But now I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

The only way to pray for your enemies not to stand in your way is to ask God to reveal Himself to them and set in confusion for any plans they have against you, to save you from them, for they are too strong for you. If you believe in your Father, the Most High, and have faith in Him, He will never let any harm befall you because you are been soaked in His blood.

Pray for them, because judging them is not helping them grow, “the wrong one does, they already  know”. Love your enemies as dirty or wicked they are. They have lost their way and so have you, none of us are perfect.Romans 2:23 says; For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Today, you might be praying against and destroying someone because you think they are your enemy, but have you thought about it this way; that someone somewhere is seriously praying against you or a loved one. We sometimes sin unconsciously, not knowing who you’ve wronged, they take it at heart and assume you to be their enemy

So you see why you should not pray for your enemies to be destroyed but for  them to have a change in mind for whatever they are planning against you.

YOU COULD BE YOUR OWN ENEMY.

Just sit down and ask yourself; WHO IS MY ENEMY.

PRAY FOR THEM

WordPress Meet and Greet – All Bloggers Welcome

Dreams can sometimes be dangerous, they give us false emotions and feelings. Sometimes, it can stick with you for a while.

It can twist our minds with hope and failure. It affects us mentally and physically. You may have a same dream over and over, a disturbing one. It’s like a message from inside, a reflection of your feelings you cannot hide from.

What’s important is, before you lay down in bed every night; Relax your mood; if other than tired. Look forward to a night of exciting dreams where you may even be inspired.

      BELIEVE

Is there something that you have prayed for but have given up because you have seen no answer from God in a long time. As believers, God has given us the privilege to call on Him in time of need or trouble, to have faith in Him while we still pray and believing that He hears and will answer us.

In Matthew 7:7,He said; Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.

God in His wise words did not just say this if He would not answer us. He is asking us to believe in Him. Casting our minds on Hannah. Hannah was always sad because she had no child. She was deeply distressed, but she looked out to the Lord. Hannah continued to pray to the Lord for a long time, pouring out her troubles, she never stopped believing in God.

In Hannah’s prayer, God is presented as the One who helps the weak, “The bows of the mighty are broken, she says, But the feeble bind on strength “(1 Samuel 2:4).
She begins her prayer with, “my heart exults in the Lord, my strength is exalted in the Lord”.  Hannah recognized that her strength came from God and not from herself. She was not proud in her strength but rejoiced in God’s ability to make a weakling strong.

Here, her story gives us insight into God’s heart. God does not despise human desire, it also teaches us that God can use human weakness to accomplish great things. Just believe and He will answer.
